First of Three

Can you believe that it's nearly the end of May? This month has just flown by! Well, since the month's end is looming near that means that a few challenges are coming to an end also, hence the posting of 3 cards. Thanks for being understanding.
First up is this sweet image by "A Day For Daisies". Their images are simply adorable. This one was offered as one of the images in the Progressive Challenge over at CDAC. The metal sentiment (in the bottom corner) says "Wish", it didn't scan very well.
I'll keep my words few since my cards are many.
hugs,
Nancy

June Birthday

Good Monday morning to you all and a Happy Memorial Day to all of my wonderful friends in the USA.
Today is the start of this week's challenge at Kaboodle Doodles and guess what the theme is..."Anything Goes!" Yep, that's right, no excuse for not entering your papercraft project this week! Who knows you could be this week's winner and recieve some free digis from our sponsor 'Pink Gem Designs".
For my card I used one of their adorable digis to create a Birthday Card. I don't know about you, but I just can't have enough birthday cards on hand. Seems like there is always someone I know celebrating their"Special Day"! My DPs are by MME. I cut the layered flower out by using a Spellbinder die in my |Grand Caliber. Sentiment is a digital freebie. Added some self sticking pearls, a bit of ribbon & a few buttons to finish this card up.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hugs & blessings on your day,
Nancy

When Life Hands You Lemons...

Well I really do hope that life isn't handing you lemons but, if it is then I do hope you'll be like this little sweetheart and use it for something positive. This adorable image is one of Mo Manning's, (who else can draw children in such a delightful way). The DP and layered flower are from Michael's. Added some real stitching to this circle card. A few buttons & cut off thumb tacks help eo finish this card up.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day.
Nancy

Graduation Card

Well, it's Tuesday and that means back to work and time for another card. This cute "Wise Owl" is one of the adorable images available at Meljen's Designs. As soon as I saw him I knew I just had to colour him up. The DP is from Michael's, as are the gem stones.
Well that's it for today. Short & sweet.

Nancy

Paper Doll Card

Good Monday Morning to you. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Here in Canada we are celebrating Victoria Day, so I am enjoying an extra day off. Yeah!
Today I am sharing with you my Kaboodle Doodles DT card. Our theme this week is "Dressed for Success" and we would like you to use Clothing in your project. Can't wait to see what all you wonderfully creative folks come up with!
I think this sweet paper doll (by Mo Manning) would be a tremendous success for any little girl's birthday card. I coloured the doll and shaded her wardrobe with Copic markers. I printed the dresses on the MME DPs. I then cut out all the pieces and attached them to the card with velcro dots. I placed a velcro dot on the doll's tummy so the dresses can easily be changed. Here are a few close up pictures to show the front, inside flap & each of the 3 inside panels.

I used little handmade hangers (made from paperclips) to hang the extra dresses from. Also used a corner punch, circle punch, Spellbinder dies, a couple of rubber stamps, some pearls, ribbon & a couple of brads. So that's it! Now it's your turn and remember if your project is the lucky winner you could win a $10 voucher to Di's Digi Downloads.
Thanks for stopping by.
hugs,
Nancy
