A Day To Celebrate

First off I want to apologize for this scan,(I even tried taking a photo but it turned out even worse). The colours are actually very pale pinks, creams & greens. This card is for the Pastel Challenge over at Meljen's Designs. To me this was an easy challenge since Mel's whimsical images just naturally go with soft colours. Ths image I used is actually one that I won in a previous challenge a few weeks ago. I picked it thinking ahead to Spring & Easter, but I think it works perfectly for a Birthday or even a Thinking of You theme. I decided to make some more use of my leftover papers & embellishments so this entire card was completed using just that. I machine stitched all the edges (I love that look - don't know why I don't do it more often!). The 2 ticket sentiments were freebies I got from this site:
The ladies that run this site are wonderful. They find & get permission to offer all these wonderful freebies on a daily basis & then email them to you. How great is that!
Well, that's it for now. Hope you are having a fanastic day.
(p.s. Just want to wish a Happy Birthday to my dear Sister-in-law)

Love the way you colored the bunny image. Great way to use the different designer papers. Thanks for sharing on the Meljen's Design Challenge for Pastels.

I LOVE this card, Mom...very pretty!
