***Quick and Easy Gift Tags

 

 

Good morning everyone. Did you get any of your Christmas shopping done over the weekend? If you did and you are now wondering how you will ever get all the wrapping done here are a few quick and easy tags you can whip up.

To do these all you need to do is start with a tag shape. I die cut mine with a Spellbinder die but you can purchase pre- cut tags at  Staples or any stationary stores. Then I hand cut the Designer Paper,[leftover overs from my scrap box], to fit inside the tag, leaving a little border from the original tag showing around the edge. I punched a doily and a flower using another couple of dies, but you could use pre-cut ones from the dollar store if you wanted to. The sentiments are from the Meljen's Shop. You can find them right here. All I did was used Ultra Fine Tipped Sharpie Markers and a Gold Paint Pen to colour in the letters & little stars, bells, holly leaves, Christmas tree and Snowman!  I punched a hole, added a eyelet and a piece of twine in the top. You could just punch a hole and put a pretty reinforcement around it to give it a bit of added strength. {I did add a bit of ink to all the edges for distressing}.
