Happy Labour Day to all my fellow Canadians. Hope you get some much deserved "R&R" today.
Yesterday I got to hang out with my granddaughter, Alanna, age 10. She is such a sweetie and she loves to colour and make cards! (Guess who she takes after, hehe. No wonder her family calls her "Little Nancy"!) Anyway, we had a blast colouring up a ton of images. I just wanted to share one of Alanna's cards with you. It's a "Joy Fold" card & since we changed the size I did help with the measuring. The image is by the talented Melissa from Meljen's Designs. Alanna used Crayola markers to colour her image (I'm pretty protective of my Copics!). All the papers are from my scrapbox. The sentiment is what Alanna came up with and is computer generated. It says:
"Ready or Not... ...Here We Come!!!"
Alanna is going to give this to her Grade 6 teacher tomorrow, when it's back to school for all the kids around here.
Thanks for stopping by & blessings on your day.
hugs,
Grandma (Nancy) & Alanna
