Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving Day to my fellow Canadians. I hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends. Remember to pause and really count your blessings because we do have so much to be thankful for - even when it seems like the going is tough at times.
My card today features a photo of a Scarecrow I had in my yard a few years back. I made the head & painted on his face and simply attached it to an old shirt & pair of jean overalls. He looked quite cute and welcoming{not scary in the least!}, sitting on a bale of straw with a few stalks of corn, several pumpkins and gourds scattered around him. Made for a great Fall photo.
The oak leaves were purchased already cut at a local craft store. The sentiment is a rubber stamp. Simply added some raffia ribbon tied in a bow long the top.
Well that's it for today. Off to eat more turkey with my husband family {yesterday it my family} and later visit my Dad who is in the hospital.
I always thank God for you and your lovely comments.
hugs,
Nancy
