Good Friday morning to you all. Hope
you are looking forward to a wonderful weekend. Here in Canada it is a
long weekend, so I'm hoping to get a little "Crafty Time" in there
somewhere, lol.
Today I would like
to share with you a card I made for my Mom for Mother's Day. It's a
real "hodge podge mix" of papers and embellishments I had laying around
in my craft room and it feature's Meljen's Designs digital image "Pansies", which you can find right here.
I
coloured the image with Copic Markers. I used several different
Spellbinder dies to cut out the different shapes on this card, as well
as a embossing folder, to add some detail to the main piece of the card
front. I even inserted a bit of burlap to give it some more texture. I
hand wrote the sentiment and added some faux stitching with a Sharpie
ultra fine tipped black marker. A pretty lace bow and a bright pink
button help to finish this card up.
Well, I hope I've encouraged you to look around your own Craft Room and see all of the supplies you already have and combine them to make something beautiful.
hugs,
Nancy

How different I like the shape. This is my kind of card as I love bright colours. The inking and lace just finish it off. Jacqui from Stamping Dragon
