My Card For The New Progressive Challenge

Hope your day has gone well. I been very busy at work and very tired by the time I get home, so I haven't accomplished much in the way of papercrafting, though I did get a bit of colouring sone the other da. Hopefully I will be able to get a card together tonight for the sneak preview of the new designs from Meljen's.
This afternoon I would like to share a card I made for the new progressive challenge over at CDAC. We were offered the free image last week and given 1 week to complete the card & email it to Priscilla. Then from all the early enteries she picked out "The Stars" to kick start the challenge. My card wasn't picked as a "Star" but it was fun to make. The winner's cards are wonderful, definitely "Star Material"! Congrats ladies. You can check them out here, as well as how this challenge works and how you can get in on the fun.

For my card I used Copics to colour the image. I used an assortment of DPs including one paper that looked like sand & some real burlap. As embellishments I used some cute wooden stars (for starfish) & some real beach glass. I added a little bit of "faux stitching" to tie it all together.
Well, that's it for now.
hugs,
Nancy
